The use of a single material; 50\/50 millimeter aluminum square profile, combined with a single production technique; the tube laser machine. By undergoing a minimal number of production processes, the chair remains clear in its communication. &#8220;It&#8217;s not about the chair.&#8221; It&#8217;s about what you see. The large profiles not only give the chair a structural character but also create an open structure, literally showing that it&#8217;s about the technology. Through the archetype design, the focus shifts from the form of the chair to its material and construction.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 50\/50 chair was designed in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/studio-herman.com\/work\">Studio Herman<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video style=\"aspect-ratio: 2560 \/ 1308;\" src=\"https:\/\/geertsnijders.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/50-50-chair.mp4\" autoplay=\"autoplay\" loop=\"loop\" muted=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1308\"><\/video><\/figure>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>",
