Helix is a sculptural dna object as a present for Avans Hogeschool. To celebrate their accreditation on sustainability, I design and manufactured this handmade symbolic Helix from recycled metal, Bio resin and Led lighting. The red color comes from a natural pigment extracted out of the Madder plant. The project is meant as motivation to anchor our thought about sustainability in our dna.
